  • While our caskets meet the commonly stated physical characteristics for Jewish burials they are not certified or recognized by the Jewish faith at this point.

  • Our caskets have been tested in our own facility to hold 250 lbs. This weight limit has not been tested by an outside source.

  • As of now no. Our casket is built to industry standards for casket inside dimensions.

  • Our finish is made from dairy whey and intended for interior use. It is one of the most eco friendly finishes available. Direct contact with the soil will break it down so the casket will decompose in a reasonable time. This finish is intended to protect your casket from moisture until it is used for its ultimate purpose.

  • The GBC is an independent non profit that certifies green burial sites and funeral products as environmentally responsible.

  • If you have ever assembled a piece of knocked down furniture you can assemble our casket. Two people can assemble a casket in under 20 minutes.

  • You will receive in stock units in 3-5 days from ordering. Expedited 2-3 day shipment can be arranged to most locations in the continental U.S.
